Section III of the original site carried a letter addressing the Church's treatment of Sephardic Jews. A document page owes its readers the provenance as much as the text.
Why this section mattered
For many readers the expulsion of 1492 and the Inquisition are not distant history but the explanation for a silence in their own family — a grandmother who lit candles on Friday and would not say why. A formal acknowledgement from the institution responsible carries real weight for those readers, which is exactly why its provenance has to be exact.
